Olympic Torch Parade

The Olympic Torch passed through my home town today! :D
Fortunately my workplace is situated on the main route so I managed to watch the ceremony. The atmosphere was incredible. I even high-fived a passing policeman!
I managed to briefly witness the "kissing" of the torches too. Our team even had a picture taken with one of the police motorcyclists.
It was a truly incredible moment.

Does anyone else wear contacts, and if so do you have any problems with them?
I'm learning how to use them, so I don't have to wear my glasses when I get married in August. I'm fine putting them in, but cannot get them out! I've been shown several techniques, but nothing seems to work. I just end up with very sore eyes! :(
I'm going back again to the Opticians tomorrow so hopefully I'll have more luck then.
I just wondered if anyone else had the same problems as me?
